Artistic collaboration is very rare in visual arts. But when it is, impressions are as fascinated as the combined artworks of Photographer Lisa Borgiani and Painter Massimo Nidini. Lisa documents her travels by building a picture out of whatever pertinent items can be gathered and placed together to tell the story; and to those detail shots Massimo adds diversity with his powerful strokes, vivacious colour and full bodied texture. In this way, the combination signed by them becomes an expression of two techniques, two minds and two different feelings in one work – albeit, it is a mammoth task.
