Antoine
BOGEY is a painter born in Grenoble in 1943. The
artist developed at a very early age a talent for
drawing. He traveled to North Africa – where he
found new colors and inspiration. BOGEY then moved to
the US, where he exhibited at the Artistica Gallery in
Miami. BOGEY returned to France in 1987 and moved to
Toulouse, where he continued to paint. His works
always show generosity, and spontaneity. The artist
perfectly captures the colors and light so particular
to the south of France. With lively scenes, perfect
combinations of colors, thick brushstrokes giving a
lot of volume, his work show his joy of painting. The
works of the painter are exhibited in galleries in
France, and belong to private collections, in France
and abroad. Amateurs prize particularly his views of
the harbors in the south of France. |
